Scottish Borders Council, in partnership with Landlord Accreditation Scotland, is hosting a free event to bring local landlords and letting agents up to date with what is happening in the private rented sector both locally and nationally.
Attending this event will allow you to hear about the following topics:
- New Energy Efficiency legislation – what you need to know
- Specialist advice and support on Energy Efficiency
- Private Rented Sector update
- Universal Credit rollout
When you book your place to attend the event, LAS will retain your email address in order to send you information following the event.
The following organisations are some of those who will also be at the event to chat to landlords before the speakers deliver their presentations.

- Home Energy Scotland
This is a free event and open to all landlords and letting agents registered with Scottish Borders Council.
The course will count towards 2 hours of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) for letting agents.

Please book online here. Please complete your full postal address to enable LAS to check your landlord registration area. Although this is a free event, only those registered in advance will be able to attend on the day. All bookings should be made through Landlord Accreditation Scotland.

Parking information: There is no public parking available at the venue. However, a pay and display car park is available on Stirling Street (a 5 minute walk), or alternative free car parking is available at St Andrew’s Street or Livingstone Place or on surrounding roads.
