A landlord who lets flatted property, whilst solely responsible for the repairs and maintenance of that property, also takes on joint responsibility for the repairs and maintenance of the common parts of the building.
This webinar has been designed to provide landlords with a guide to the regulations involved in joint repairing responsibilities that come with the ownership of property with communal obligations. It will look at the general principles and what landlords and letting agents need to be aware of. There will also be an update on any Scottish Government Covid-19 guidance that may be applicable to this topic at the time of the webinar.
The webinar is delivered in partnership with Aberdeen City Council and Aberdeenshire Council.
Landlords should ideally have attended the Core Standard Level 1 course, Property Condition and Property Management, prior to attending this course.

Webinar FAQs
LAS webinars have been created to allow us to bring you the information we would have providing when we were with you face to face.
We have done our best to replicate the experience you had when you were in the room with us, so that we can continue to provide you with the information you need to continue to manage your rental properties well and the updates you need during COVID-19.
Can I still ask questions in the same way as I could at the face to face courses?
Yes, you can. You will not be on camera when you do this. There is the facility to ask questions all the way through the webinar and we will answer as many of these as we can on the day
No. We won’t be able to see you and neither will anyone else attending the webinar
Still not sure a webinar is for you?
Please call the LAS team and we can chat to you about webinar and answer any questions you have.
