This course concentrates on the new Private Residential Tenancy (PRT). A private rented sector tenancy with a start date of 1st December 2017 onwards will be a Private Residential Tenancy. The course will cover all the documentation and associated processes for a PRT. The course will also provide clarification of the differences in operating this new tenancy and Short Assured Tenancy that will run on past 1st December 2017. Attending this training can be recorded as 3 CPD hours.

• Types of tenancy agreement with emphasis on Private Residential Tenancies (PRT)
• Contractual clauses
• Grounds for repossession of Private Residential Tenancies and Assured/Short Assured Tenancies (SAT)
• Serving notice for PRT and SAT
• The role of the First-tier Tribunal

Parking information: There is both on-street and off-street parking on Mill Street where charges apply from 8am – 6pm Monday to Saturday. There are three disabled public car parking spaces directly opposite the main entrance to the concert hall but these tend to fill very quickly.
There is also a car park on Kinnoull Street which is operated by Smart Parking Car Parks (01738 440 933), this multi-storey car park is a pay-and-display car park and the charge must be paid on arrival.
