The Scottish Government route map for moving out of lockdown gives us an indication of what to expect over the next few weeks however social distancing is set to be with us for some time to come which of course has an impact on how landlords continue to deal with property management well during this period.

This webinar deals with the repairing obligations of landlords and how these need to be managed at the present time. It will look at the general principles and what landlords and letting agents need to be aware of.

Gail Bowden will provide an overview of the government guidance and explore areas including the practicalities of getting necessary works done and the importance of good communication.

The session will be hosted by Lynne Macdonald, Training and Events Coordinator for LAS

Webinar FAQs

Is a webinar for me?

LAS webinars have been created to allow us to bring you the information we would have providing when we were with you face to face.

We have done our best to replicate the experience you had when you were in the room with us, so that we can continue to provide you with the information you need to continue to manage your rental properties well and the updates you need during COVID-19.

Will I be on camera during the webinar?

No. We won’t be able to see you and neither will anyone else attending the webinar.

Who is presenting the webinars?

Gail Bowden and Elspeth Boyle are still bringing you the information you need as they did before, and you will be able to see them on the day. Lynne Macdonald, LAS Training and Events Co-ordinator hosts the webinars and is there to help with anything you need help with on the day.

Can I still ask questions in the same way as I could at the face to face courses?

Yes, you can. You will not be on camera when you do this. There is the facility to ask questions all the way through the webinar and we will answer as many of these as we can on the day. For the ones that we can’t, you will be sent a link after the webinar with answers to all the questions asked on the day.

Still not sure a webinar is for you?

Please call the LAS team and we can chat to you about webinar and answer any questions you have.
