LAS have created a programme of training which looks at the standards of the Letting Agent Code of Practice in depth. The programme is designed to assist agents in putting strong compliance measures in place and ensuring a strong knowledge base in agency teams.
The modules within the programme, which are delivered virtually, are recommended as meaningful CPD and assist qualified agents in attaining required training hours.
This module, delivered over two webinars, explores all the elements that make up Sections 5 & 6 of the Code and aims to support agents with taking instructions and terms of business.

Session 2: Thursday 10th February, 2022 – 10am
By booking on to Session 1 you will automatically be enrolled for Session 2. To complete the Module attendance at both sessions is required.
Having attended both sessions you will have an understanding of:
- The requirement for robust rent collection and arrears management
- understanding of the agent/tenant and landlord relationship in terms of compliance with the Repairing Standards

This webinar is suitable for agency staff who work with the landlords and tenants dealing with necessary repairs and maintenance as well as those responsible for ensuring rent collection processes are well managed.
Completion of Module 4 can be recorded as 2 hours of CPD.

Virtual Classroom FAQs
A virtual classroom is a learning environment where participants can interact, communicate, view and discuss material, while working in groups, via an online platform. LAS use Zoom.
Yes, it is essential for the tutor to be able to interact with the group and so all participants will be visible. Participants can ask questions and the tutors can hear and see all those in the classroom.
