Landlord Accreditation Scotland have created a programme of training which looks at the standards of the Letting Agent Code of Practice (the Code) in depth. The programme is designed to assist agents in putting strong compliance measures in place and ensuring a strong knowledge base in agency teams.
The sessions within the programme, which are delivered virtually, are recommended as meaningful CPD and assist qualified agents in attaining required training hours.
This module, delivered over two webinars, explores all the elements that make up Section 4 of the Code and aims to support agents with marketing, charging fees, viewings, applications, tenancy agreements, deposits and inventories.
Session 1: Tuesday 26th July, 2022 – 10am
Session 2: Thursday 28th July, 2022 – 10am
By booking on to Session 1 you will automatically be enrolled for Session 2. To complete the Module attendance at both sessions is required.
Having attended both webinar training sessions you will have an understanding of:
- Property marketing and advertising
- Tenancy applications
- Setting up a tenancy including lease preparation
Who is this webinar for:
This course is suitable for agency staff who work closely with the landlord in the initial stages of letting their property. Staff who offer and then process tenancy applications and those who prepare tenancy agreements should also attend this session.
Completion of Module 3 can be recorded as 2 hours of CPD.

A virtual classroom is a learning environment where participants can interact, communicate, view and discuss material, while working in groups, via an online platform. LAS use Zoom.
Yes, it is essential for the tutor to be able to interact with the group and so all participants will be visible. Participants can ask questions and the tutors can hear and see all those in the classroom.
