Landlord Accreditation Scotland have created a programme of training which looks at the standards of the Letting Agent Code of Practice (the Code) in depth. The programme is designed to assist agents in putting strong compliance measures in place and ensuring a strong knowledge base in agency teams.
The sessions within the programme, which are delivered virtually, are recommended as meaningful CPD and assist qualified agents in attaining required training hours.
This module, delivered over two webinars, explores all the elements that make up Section 3 of the Code and aims to support agents with taking instructions and terms of business.
Session 1: Tuesday 18th January, 2022 – 10am
Session 2: Thursday 20th January, 2022 – 10am
By booking on to Session 1 you will automatically be enrolled for Session 2, as for the Module to be complete attendance of both sessions is required.

- Understanding the landlord and agent relationship
- Knowledge of what must be included in the terms of business
- Requirements before engaging landlords.
At the end of the workshop you will have an understanding of:
- Essential elements of taking new letting instructions
- What must be included in terms of business and why.

A virtual classroom is a learning environment where participants can interact, communicate, view and discuss material, while working in groups, via an online platform. LAS use Zoom.
Yes, it is essential for the tutor to be able to interact with the group and so all participants will be visible. Participants can ask questions and the tutors can hear and see all those in the classroom.
