Managing Short Assured Tenancies – they still exist
Landlord Accreditation Scotland have created a programme of training which provides letting agents with sessions that can be used for CPD purposes, but which can also be used as part of your ongoing commitment to a strong knowledge base in agency teams.
The session, which is delivered virtually, has been written to provide a detailed explanation of the Short Assured Tenancy, a tenancy type which can no longer be created but still exists and has specific requirements for management and seeking possession which differ significantly from the Private Residential Tenancy. The course is delivered by LAS tutor Gail Bowden, a PRS professional with a wealth of experience in this area.
Having attended this sessions staff will have an understanding of:
- How Short Assured Tenancies were created
- Specific management implications
- Routes to possession

Webinar FAQs
LAS webinars have been created to allow us to bring you the information we would have providing when we were with you face to face.
We have done our best to replicate the experience you had when you were in the room with us, so that we can continue to provide you with the information you need to continue to manage your rental properties well and the updates you need during COVID-19.
Can I still ask questions in the same way as I could at the face to face courses?
Yes, you can. You will not be on camera when you do this. There is the facility to ask questions all the way through the webinar and we will answer as many of these as we can on the day
No. We won’t be able to see you and neither will anyone else attending the webinar
Still not sure a webinar is for you?
Please call the LAS team and we can chat to you about webinar and answer any questions you have.
