    1:30 pm - 4:30 pm

Midlothian Council, in partnership with Landlord Accreditation Scotland, is hosting a free event to bring local landlords and letting agents up to date with what is happening in the private rented sector both locally and nationally. With the new Private Residential Tenancy now in place and the introduction of a register of letting agents, 2018 will be a year of change for all of those involved in letting private property.

Attending this event will allow you to hear about the following topics:

  • Private residential tenancies – where are we now
  • Letting agent regulation
  • Jurisdiction changes for Private Rented Sector cases – First-tier Tribunal
  • Private Rented Sector update

When you book your place to attend the event, LAS will retain your email address in order to send you a questionnaire following the event. We want to be able to supply as much information as possible during the afternoon and so there will not be a question and answer session. Instead, the questionnaire you will receive will allow us to direct you to the most relevant point of contact for your particular question.

The following organisations are some of those who will also be at the event to chat to landlords before the speakers deliver their presentations.
