- November 30, 2017
1:00 pm - 4:30 pm
Landlord Accreditation Scotland in partnership with Renfrewshire Council is hosting a free to attend event to bring local landlords and letting agents up to date with what is happening in the private rented sector both locally and nationally. With a new private rented sector tenancy regime coming into place on 1st December 2017 and the introduction of a register of letting agents early in 2018 there are big changes ahead for all of those involved in letting private property.
Attending this event will allow you to hear about the following topics:
- A new tenancy regime – Private residential tenancies
- Letting agent regulation
- Housing and Property Chamber- First-tier Tribunal
- Proposed changes to energy performance requirements in private rented property
- Local Authority update for private landlords
When you book your place to attend the event, LAS will retain your email address in order to send you a questionnaire following the event. We want to be able to supply as much information as possible during the afternoon and so there will not be a question and answer session. Instead, the questionnaire you will receive will allow us to direct you to the most relevant point of contact for your particular question.
The following organisations are some of those who will also be at the event to chat to landlords before the speakers deliver their presentations.
