A well written, concise inventory is essential for any landlord who wishes to avoid lengthy disputes at the end of a tenancy over property condition and return of deposits. It is also essential in aiding all landlords of private rented accommodation to comply with the Repairing Standard 2007.
With the introduction of Tenancy Deposit Schemes to Scotland a detailed inventory is of the utmost importance in supporting a landlord in any dispute with a tenant regarding return of deposit that may arise.
Attendance at the course will provide you with a framework for preparation of a relevant inventory document and guidance on using that document at your final inspection.
You may have produced an inventory some time ago and are looking to ensure that your next document is as good as it can be, or have never produced an inventory before but now feel that you would be better protected by doing so. Either way, this course will be relevant.

Registering for a course
Registering for a course is simple. Select the number of delegate places required from the list and click ‘register’ now. Immediate payment is required to secure a place on the course.
If you cannot select the number of delegate places you require, the course may be full. Please contact the LAS office on 0131 553 2211. Courses run on a demand basis and are subject to cancellation if minimum numbers are not met. This rarely occurs but in this case LAS will contact you by email / telephone as soon as possible using the contact details you have provided.

*Fees are discounted for members of Scottish Association of Landlords (SAL) and Scottish Land and Estates (SLE) as a benefit of those associations partnership with LAS. It is essential, however, that you register for a place so that confirmation can be sent. To qualify for the discounted rate, you must provide your SAL or SLE membership number.
